Minepower was established by Robert Nash in 2002 as an open pit mining and earthmoving contractor. With Roberts experience and knowledge he created an effective business determined to secure long term contracts to share success with clients, employees and suppliers.
Robert Nash was Managing Director of Nash Mining during the Nash Mining decade (1985 – 1995) where he successfully grew an owner-miner/contracting business to one of the most respected in WA. Nash Mining exceeded expectations in 1994 becoming recognized by BRW-Price Waterhouse ranking them 14th in Australia and 2nd WA within the top 100 fastest growing private companies.
Nash Mining’s operations focused on open pit, heap and vat leaching, tailings dams, rehabilitation, road construction, plant hire, gold mining joint ventures, civil earthworks, dam sinking and heavy haulage. Nash Mining was the number one mining contractor based in Kalgoorlie.

Darren has 25 years experience in primary industry and the resources sector. He is responsible for all aspects of Minepower's operations including strategically positioning the business to ensure profitability and growth whilst maintaining Minepower's unique culture.

Steven joined Minepower with over 17 years of corporate accounting and commercial experience with small, medium and large corporations. He has worked in a range of industries which encompass oil and gas, construction, mining and banking.
Nathan Stretton
OPERATIONS MANAGER

Nathan joined Minepower with over 20 years of management and operational experience within the mining industry including surveying, production and project management. Nathan holds a Restricted Explosives /Quarry Manager’s Certificate, Shot firer’s ticket and a Certificate III, IV in Meltalliferous Mining. He is also accredited with a Cert IV in Training & Assessing and Occupational Health and Safety and is an integral part of our operational team.

Kylie has an extensive background and qualifications in Human Resources Management, along with skills in Occupational Health and Safety, Employee Relations and staff training. Kylie has been integral in formalising Minepower's employment conditions through the development of Collective Agreements, Contracts of Employment and the policies that make up the Human Resources Plan. She has been a member of the team since 2007 and is committed to maintaining Minepower's unique culture and to developing her knowledge and abilities in the field of Human Resources.

Darren White has 25 years experience in management, machinery maintenance and purchasing and has become an integral part of the Minepower team. Darren plays an essential role in the purchase, pricing and allocation of machinery and equipment over Minepower's operating and approaching operations.
Adrian Boyd
PLANT & MAINTENANCE MANAGER

Adrian is an experienced manager with 20 years experience in the mechanical industry including work with various OEM's in managerial. tech support and hands-on mechanical roles. Adrian holds extensive knowledge and experience in managing maintenance personnel and machinery. Currently Adrian oversees the development of Minepower's purchasing, work order and maintenance systems continually improving them to maintain an efficient fleet relying on preventative maintenance.
